Dog Week, September 15 - 22, 2012 Come experience some of the world's best wild Ruffed Grouse hunting with your dog during the opening week of grouse season! Our secluded location, ideal habitat and abundant grouse population presents the perfect place to introduce your started dog to hunting in the field, where several flushes per hour is common. For seasoned hunting dogs, we have many miles of trails, both on property and boat-accessed, where you can hone the skills of your dog and test your shooting. Gun Dog Week package includes:
Private Group Moose Hunts September
15-30, 2012 Bow only, 4 hunter/week max Two Moon Outpost Lodge offers moose hunting adventures to only one party of hunters at a time, with a 4 hunter minimum during the October hunt. 2012 licences permit the taking of one Bull or Calf for every two gun hunter, one Bull, Cow or Calf for each two bow hunters. We hunt the territory adjacent to the camp in the Wolf Creek Valley. With its spruce hill tops, secondary hardwood growth forest and vast wetlands, this area is prime habitat for moose. Maintained trails and stands provide for exceptional opportunity for success, while our wood-heated and insulated cabins provide comfort at the end of the day.
