to the Wilderness Adventure Lodge
Driving
Directions to Laniel
- From Toronto (5
hours): Take Hwy 400 and 11 to North Bay. Turn Right on Hwy 63 East(Trout
Lake Road) to Temiskaming, Quebec. From there, take Hwy 101 North to
Laniel.
- From Buffalo/Fort
Erie/Hamilton(6-7 hours): Take QEW and Hwy 403 to Toronto, then Hwy
400 to North Bay, then 63 to Temiskaming.
- From Ottawa (4.5
Hours): Take Hwy 17 to Mattawa. Keep straight through Mattawa and catch
Hwy 533 to Hwy 63, turn right to Temiskaming.
From Laniel
- Turn Right just
as you leave the village of Laniel. Follow this good gravel road for
6 km, following the signs to Taggart Bay Lodge. Parking and boat transport
to Two Moon Point is at Taggart Bay Lodge. It is a 8-10 minute boat
ride to the Lodge.
By Canoe or
Kayak (2.5 - 3 hour paddle)
- Park at Taggart
Bay Lodge, and pick up one of our canoes there, or launch your own.
Paddle North to Baie des Plongeurs, then East. Two Moon Point is on
the North shore of Loon Bay.

Air from overseas or North America:

Fly
to Toronto Pearson (YYZ). Connect with Greyhound Bus at Pearson
Terminal 3. Bus to North Bay, then transfer to Laniel. Bus transport
is booked through www.greyhound.ca
